Plant King Inc. is a family-run business based in Stayner, Ontario, started by Aaron (A-A-Ron) and Ashley (Ash). Early in our growing journey, we realized most big box store soils aren’t ideal for houseplants without major amendments.

As we got deeper into the hobby, we tried specialty mixes but found serious consistency issues. The problem? Most are made in bulk and bagged later, with uneven distribution of ingredients from one bag to the next.

So we started making our own. After years of hauling amendments, making a mess, and storing giant bags in small spaces, we figured there had to be a better way. There wasn’t. So we built it.

We hand-mix high-quality houseplant soils in small, single-bag batches to keep structure, airflow, and performance reliable every time; no blending or guesswork needed.
